Our crushing division supports mobile and modular plant operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and production performance.

We are seeking an experienced Crusher Fitter to join a small, tight-knit crew maintaining a modular crushing plant in Boddington, WA.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance, reliability, and safe operation of a fixed/modular crushing plant and associated support equipment.

This is a hands-on role suited to a fitter who takes ownership of plant performance and works well in a small team environment where initiative, reliability, and shutdown capability are critical.

You will play a key role in both day-to-day maintenance and shutdown planning and execution.

Plant & Equipment

- Metso C125 Jaw Crusher
- Metso HP500 Cone Crusher
- Triple Deck Horizontal Screen
- Multiple conveyors and transfer systems
- Komatsu WA600 & WA500 wheel loaders
- Generators and site support equipment

Key Responsibilities

- Preventative maintenance, inspections, and servicing of the modular crushing plant
- Breakdown diagnosis, fault finding, and repairs across mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated structures
- Assisting with preventative maintenance scheduling for minor and major shutdowns
- Supporting shutdown execution, component change-outs, and major maintenance works
- Monitoring plant condition and identifying reliability improvement opportunities
- Interpreting technical drawings, manuals,



and parts diagrams
- Ordering and managing parts and consumables
- Completing maintenance documentation and inspection records
- Working closely with the Supervisor and Operators to minimise downtime
- Maintaining housekeeping and workshop standards
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, site, and legislative requirements

What We’re Looking For

Essential

- Trade Qualification – HD Mechanical / Diesel Fitter (Australian recognised)
- Proven experience on crushing and screening plant
- Solid knowledge of jaw and cone crushers, screens, and conveyor systems
- Solid hydraulic fault-finding skills
- Experience in fixed or modular plant environments
- Experience contributing to planned maintenance and shutdown works
- Ability to work effectively within a small crew with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to safety and plant reliability
- Basic Rigging (RB)
- Dogging (DG)
- Experience working on Metso crushers (C125 Jaw, HP Series Cone)
- HR Driver’s Licence
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights

Roster & Location

- 8/6 roster – Day shift only
- Boddington, WA
- Drive In Drive Out (DIDO)
- Camp accommodation available for non-local employees
- Working within a small, experienced crew with strong team culture
