Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hotel, ensuring a high-quality guest experience in restaurants, bars, room service, and event catering. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Sydney Area includes managing daily service standards, supervising and coaching team members, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with the kitchen and other hotel departments. The person in this role will handle menu implementation, pricing, and promotions to support revenue and profitability targets, while maintaining compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing requirements.

Additional responsibilities include managing budgets,



analyzing performance metrics, addressing guest feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong food and beverage operations skills, including service coordination, menu planning, and bar and restaurant management.
- Team leadership and people management skills, such as scheduling, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Customer service and guest relations skills, with the ability to handle feedback, resolve issues, and maintain a guest-focused culture.
- Financial and administrative skills, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and relevant licensing and compliance requirements.
- Experience in upscale or luxury hotel environments, preferably in a similar managerial role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and work with diverse teams.
- Relevant hospitality or hotel management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational needs.
