Love great food, fun events, and leading a small team? The Marshmallow Co. is looking for a passionate, reliable and confident Food Trailer Lead to take charge of our brand-new s’mores & gourmet marshmallow trailer!

This role is perfect for someone who loves customer interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on with setup, pack-down, and event operations.

About the Role

As our Food Trailer Lead, you will be responsible for running our food trailer at events, markets, festivals and pop-ups across NSW. You’ll be the face of The Marshmallow Co. onsite and play a key part in creating an unforgettable experience for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Driving our work ute while towing the food trailer to and from events
- Setting up and packing down the trailer, equipment, signage, and serving stations
- Preparing ingredients and event stock in office at our Wyong HQ (1–2 days per week)
- Hiring, training and supervising juniors / casual staff for events
- Serving customers, taking payments, and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards are always met
- Managing event timelines, checklists, and operational needs




- Coordinating bookings and assisting with scheduling upcoming events

About You We’re looking for someone who is:

- Confident towing a trailer (experience preferred, or willingness to learn quickly)
- Comfortable leading a small team and delegating tasks
- Friendly, reliable and great with customers
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work weekends, nights, and event-based hours
- Comfortable with hands-on physical work (moving equipment, setting up displays)
- Someone who takes initiative and can run the trailer independently

Required:

- Valid Australian driver’s licence (full licence preferred)
- Customer service experience
- Ability to tow a trailer safely (training can be provided)

Schedule

- Full-time
- 1–2 prep days per week at our Wyong HQ
- Events throughout NSW (mostly weekends, some evenings)

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
