We are seeking multiple skilled Formwork Carpenters for ongoing work on local construction projects across the Perth Metro area, including high-rise apartments and shopping centers. This is a great opportunity to join a project-focused team working on large-scale commercial and industrial developments.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork components (including in-situ walls, columns, stairs, and decks) according to plans and specifications.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans accurately.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and small plant equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Carpentry Apprenticeship or Certificate III in Carpentry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Formwork Carpenter role.
- Experience with curved walls will be highly regarded.
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit, capable of manual handling, and comfortable with labour-intensive tasks.
- Full work rights in Australia.
- Reliable with a positive "can-do" attitude.
