Gold Coast Parasail is Australia’s largest parasailing operator, offering unforgettable parasailing experiences from the beautiful Gold Coast. Since 2016, we’ve built our reputation around providing safe, exciting and memorable experiences for locals and visitors from around the world.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Guest Service & Reservations Representative to join our team and be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet.

About the Role

As a Guest Service & Reservations Representative, you’ll play an important role in creating an amazing customer experience from the moment a guest makes an enquiry or booking through to their arrival at our office.

This is a varied, customer-focused role that combines reservations, sales, administration and guest service in a fun and fast-paced tourism environment.

Your Responsibilities

● Answering phone calls, emails and customer enquiries

● Making and managing customer reservations

● Assisting guests with choosing the right experience and package

● Providing friendly and professional customer service

● Processing bookings, payments and amendments

● Assisting guests with waivers & disscusing important information before their experience

● Assisting with daily office and administrative tasks

● Completing safety briefing's with guest

● Managing time efficiently to meet time schedule's accordingly

● Communicating with customers regarding bookings, weather updates and schedule changes

● Promoting additional experiences,



photo packages and other products

● Handling customer questions and resolving issues professionally

● Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area

● Working closely with our boat crew and management team to ensure smooth daily operations

● Assisting with daily office and administrative tasks

About You!

We’re looking for someone who is:

● Friendly, bubbly and approachable

● Confident speaking with customers both in person and over the phone

● Reliable, organised and able to multitask

● Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

● A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail

● Confident using computers and booking systems

● Positive and enthusiastic about tourism and creating memorable experiences

● Comfortable with sales and recommending experiences to customers

● Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations

● A team player who is happy to jump in and help wherever needed

Previous experience in tourism, reservations, water-sports or customer service is highly regarded, but attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Availability

Between 15–20 hours per week will be offered initially, with opportunities for additional hours in the future. Significantly more hours will be available during peak periods.

We are busiest on weekends, school holidays and over the Christmas period, so availability during these times is essential. Weekday shifts will also be available.

Weekend shifts are rostered on a rotating basis, with team members receiving one weekend day off each week. Weekend availability is essential, particularly during peak periods.

Essential

- Local resident (Gold Coast or nearby)

- Australian or New Zealand Citizen

- Current drivers licence or easy access to public transport
