Role Description The Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingsville, VIC. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with prospective and existing partners, including corporate organisations, community groups, and individual donors. Day-to-day tasks include researching and securing fundraising opportunities, preparing proposals and pitches, coordinating partnership agreements, and maintaining accurate records of donor and partner activities.
The Coordinator will help plan and deliver fundraising campaigns and events, track performance against targets, and prepare reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
This role also involves close collaboration with program staff to align partnership activities with organisational priorities and ensure consistent communication with partners and supporters.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships that advance organisational goals.
- Strong Communication skills, including persuasive speaking, skilled writing, and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Project Management, with experience coordinating multiple initiatives, timelines, and resources.
- Sales or fundraising experience, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing partnership or donor agreements.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment and engage respectfully with culturally diverse communities.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and revenue targets.
- Experience in the not-for-profit or international development sector, particularly in Africa, is highly regarded.
