We have an exciting opportunity for a Gaming Attendant to join the team at The Cumberland in Pascoe Vale on a casual basis.

As a Gaming Attendant, you’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service and maintaining presentation, compliance and responsible gaming standards at all times.

A new chapter begins at The Cumberland. Located on Cumberland Road in Pascoe Vale, The Cumberland is the reimagining of the former Pascoe Vale RSL — built around the idea of a true neighbourhood pub where locals can gather, share a drink and feel at home.

About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 17 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional approach
- Creating a welcoming, safe and enjoyable gaming environment
- Handling cash and operating tills accurately and efficiently
- Supporting venue promotions and loyalty program enquiries
- Responding to customer concerns professionally and escalating where required
- Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and ambience of the gaming room




- Supporting responsible gambling practices and providing information when required

What We’re Looking For

- Great energy and a positive, can-do attitude
- A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous gaming or hospitality experience is highly regarded

Essential Requirements

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) Certificates
- Current Gaming Licence
- Do Food Safely certification, or willingness to obtain
