THE SPLIT: HOW THIS ROLE ACTUALLY WORKS

Full-time: your week is a genuine 50/50 split. Garden maintenance is priority one, handyman work fills the rest of the week.

OR

Part-time (25 hours a week): garden maintenance only. Mowing nature strips, trimming back shrubs and trees, pulling weeds.

Either way: you'll be back on the same properties month after month for the garden side of things, so you'll get faster and better at it over time, while full-timers also get variety from the handyman jobs mixed through the week.

About the Company

We're Dispatch Maintenance, a property maintenance company built exclusively for residential property managers across Brisbane. No awkward one-off residential jobs, no chasing strangers for work. Just steady, well-organised work through property management clients who have ongoing need and know how to communicate.

We're growing, and we're looking for our next team member. You'll be joining a small, tight-knit team, not disappearing into a call centre roster. Jared runs the business day to day, so you'll always know exactly who to call and what's expected.

About the Role

· South Brisbane based, working across Greater Brisbane

· Full-time or part-time (25 hours/week), Monday to Friday. Weekends are yours.

· Immediate start available

· Garden maintenance is monthly recurring per property: mowing nature strips, trimming back trees and shrubs, weeding garden beds

· Full-time roles add general handyman repairs through the week for variety

· Consistent, reliable work every week: no hunting for the next job, no dry patches

Key Responsibilities

Garden maintenance (recurring,



roughly monthly per property):

· Mowing nature strips and lawns

· Trimming back trees and shrubs

· Weeding garden beds and general tidy-up

Handyman work (full time roles, mixed through the week):

· General property maintenance and repairs: doors, locks, hinges, carpentry

· Minor painting and patching: walls, ceilings, touch-ups between tenants

· Basic plumbing fixes: tap washers, cisterns, blocked drains (non-licensed)

· Blind fitting, shelf installation, appliance checks, fence and gate repairs

· The property gets left cleaner than you found it

Skills and Experience

· Experience in handyman work, garden maintenance, or both. We'll take a strong all-rounder over a narrow specialist.

· A problem solver who's dynamic and adaptable.



We're a young business and our processes are still evolving.

· Enjoys getting faster and better at the same recurring garden work each month, but also enjoys mixing it up with handyman jobs through the week if full-time

· Reliable own vehicle and current Australian driver's licence. You'll use your own car and tools day to day, reimbursed at 91c/km (ATO rate) for work-related travel

· Own basic hand tools. We supply the big gear: mowers, ladders, and other larger equipment

· Strong communication: property managers need updates, not excuses

· Reliable, punctual, and professional on site

· No specific licence required for the trade side. Trade background is a bonus, not a must.

· $33-$37 per hour plus Super, depending on experience

· Fuel/km reimbursement on your own vehicle at the ATO rate (91c/km)
