The opportunity

Based in our Brisbane office, the General Manager – Asset Services will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and join the Australian Leadership Team, providing strategic and operational leadership across Altrad’s Asset Services division. The business delivers specialised mechanical services for compressors, engines and well sites, alongside the holding and supply of strategic OEM spares to major customers across the energy sector, with operations spanning all Australian regions.

The role will lead the development and execution of strategic and operational plans that position the division for sustained performance and growth across the short, medium and long term.

Working closely with the Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in translating corporate strategy into clear priorities and delivering meaningful business outcomes.

Growth is central to this appointment. Building on robust performance across WA and QLD over the past 12 months, the successful candidate will be responsible for capitalising on this momentum, strengthening and developing Altrad’s high-performing teams, and driving the division’s continued expansion across Australia.

Accountabilities will include

- Oversee the Company's performance in relation to financial, commercial and technical parameters
- Management of division operations, ensuring the efficient utilisation of internal and external resources and people
- Active and visible leadership in delivering the Group's HSEQ strategic objectives through effective consultation and communication throughout the business operations
- Identify innovative and efficient methodologies in operations and drive continuous improvement
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities that support division growth and expansion
- Identification,



development and directing the implementation of strategy designed to grow the business over the longer term
- Operate within delegated authority limits and all of Altrad's policies and procedures
- Review and rationalise Asset Services processes, ensuring standard procedures are relevant, concise, and adhered to
- Provide high-level strategic planning and policy advice to the Executive Management Team on all matters affecting the future business operations capacity and sustainability of the essential services provided by the business

Your experience and leadership

We’re looking for an accomplished leader who combines strategic vision, commercial acumen and a proven ability to grow and lead a complex services business. You’ll bring the credibility to build strong relationships at all levels, alongside the operational discipline to translate strategy into sustainable performance.

This is an opportunity for a commercially astute leader who can build on an established platform, identify new avenues for growth, strengthen key client relationships and lead a high-performing team through the next phase of the division’s national expansion.

You will possess

- Proven senior leadership experience within Mechanical Services, Coal Seam Gas, hydrocarbon infrastructure, or related service and maintenance environments.
- Strong experience in OEM services, strategic partnerships and customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated commercial leadership, including accountability for a P&L; of $50m .
- A strong track record of business growth across both existing client relationships and new market opportunities.
- Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of contracts, margin optimisation and financial risk management.
- The ability to operate strategically while maintaining a strong understanding of operational delivery.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to engage with major clients and internal teams.
- A proven ability to develop high-performing teams, build leadership capability and foster a culture of accountability and performance.
