About The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer and work on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on applying geotechnical principles to support safe mining operations, while also contributing to backfill and filling activities.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

- Developing and improving the Ground Control Management Plan and monitoring systems.
- Supporting the Senior Geotechnical Engineer with ground control, mining methods, and extraction sequences.
- Monitoring geotechnical conditions, deformation, seismicity, and ground support systems.
- Conducting analysis using empirical methods, numerical modelling, and rock mass classification.
- Providing input into mine design and planning, applying lessons learnt and managing geotechnical risks.
- Championing safety through HSEC compliance, incident investigations, and promoting a strong safety culture.

About You Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in underground mining environments. Other Key Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

- A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with relevant mining software packages, such as Rocscience, Deswik, or similar.
- A current C-class manual driver's licence.
