Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and driven Graduate Electrical Engineer to provide support in a diverse role within a professional but friendly environment. This is a full-time position based in our Perth Office.

The position will include but not be limited to:

- Assist in the delivery of electrical engineering design and control system solutions across a range of projects, including electrical systems, control system software, PLC programming, SCADA configuration, functional testing and commissioning.

- Prepare electrical engineering specifications, technical documentation, user manuals, system manuals and other design deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.





- Support the development and review of electrical engineering documentation, control system software and project deliverables in accordance with design documentation, applicable standards and project requirements.

- Configure and develop SCADA systems to meet project functional, operational and technical requirements.

- Develop knowledge of Australian Standards, industry design codes and engineering tools.

- Prepare test plans and undertake functional testing of electrical hardware and control system software to verify compliance with project and design requirements.

- Assist with the preparation of engineering estimates, quotations and technical inputs for project proposals.

- Represent EMtek professionally during client interactions and site visits while ensuring the accuracy and quality of engineering outputs.

- Take ownership of professional development by actively engaging in mentoring, seeking feedback, building technical competency through practical application, and contributing to EMtek's knowledge base, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or near completion)



in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering theory to practical challenges

- Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal and with the ability to work effectively within a team

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and ask for help when needed

- Genuine interest in the resources, mining, or heavy industrial sector
