Role Description The Graphic Designing Intern will support the visual communication needs of datos.gob.es and the Dirección General del Dato. This part-time, remote role includes creating and refining graphics for web and social media, assisting in the development of visual concepts for campaigns, and designing logos or visual elements that align with established branding guidelines. The intern will contribute to the production of infographics, presentations, and marketing materials, ensuring consistency with the platform’s identity.
Day-to-day tasks also involve image editing, preparing assets for digital publication, collaborating with communication and data teams, and following feedback to improve design outputs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital and web-based materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to support visual identity development and consistency.
- Candidates should possess skills in Image Editing for optimizing and adapting visuals to different formats and channels.
- Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar) and familiarity with layout and typography principles.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, work with feedback, and meet deadlines in a remote workplace.
- Strong attention to detail, visual creativity, and interest in data, open data, or public sector communication.
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant field of study (e.g., Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia) is beneficial.
