Grounds & Maintenance All-Rounder

As part of this mission, we are seeking a Grounds & Maintenance All-Rounder who is passionate about preserving and enhancing our stunning grounds and facilities. Reporting to the G&M; Manager and G&M; 2IC, this role is essential for ensuring our environment is kept to the highest standards of beauty and supporting our operational needs of parking, cleaning, and opening/closing processes.

Requirements:

- Hands-on experience (1-2 years) in grounds, landscaping, labouring, or maintenance roles
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic tool and machinery skills, including protected operation of mowers, brush cutters, blowers, and other powered equipment
- Safety-conscious, with knowledge of and commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Positive and reliable team member, willing to contribute across multiple areas including maintenance, cleaning, and guest operations
- Flexible availability for 2-3 days per week, including some weekend or public holiday work as required
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a proactive personality
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport (required)

Responsibilities:





- Support in maintaining the Crystal Castle grounds, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and safe
- Assist with landscape maintenance, including mowing, fencing, pathing, pruning, brush cutting, mulching, and other activities
- Assist with building and facilities maintenance, including maintaining flags, roads, fountains, irrigation, minor cleaning and maintenance on work machinery, and other activities
- Assist with operational needs of Crystal Castle including, packing and unpacking crystals, completing opening and closing checklists, checking and cleaning bathrooms, parking cars, removing rubbish from around the property, supporting cafe with rubbish runs, and other duties as assigned
- Assist gardening team with preparation and maintenance of gardens, weed eradication, bush regeneration, and other activities
- Operation of machinery and powered equipment to level assigned and within competence
- Assist with any ongoing projects as directed by leaders
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to minimise disruptions to guests
- Adhere to all Crystal Castle WHS policies and procedures
- Adhere to all Crystal Castle company policies
