STRENGTH - CONDITIONING - COMMUNITY
Good People Training Club is looking for an exceptional Coach to join our team in Wembley.
GPTC is a dual-zone strength and conditioning facility built for everyday people who want to become stronger, fitter and more confident.
Our members don’t come here just to complete workouts. They come to be coached, challenged, supported and made to feel part of something. That means our Coaches do much more than demonstrate exercises and start a timer.
We’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their craft, brings energy into every room and wants to build a career in the fitness industry.
See what we’re about: @goodpeople.tc The role
You’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience across our strength and conditioning sessions.
You will
- Coach secure, engaging and high-quality group training sessions.
- Actively move through the room, improve technique and coach every member - not simply supervise the workout.
- Adapt exercises, loading and intensity to suit different abilities, injuries and goals.
- Create an energetic, inclusive environment where people feel known and supported.
- Learn members’ names, build meaningful relationships and help keep them accountable.
- Welcome new members and make their experience exceptional.
- Assist with enquiries, membership conversations and member follow-up.
- Contribute to GPTC events, challenges, community initiatives and social content.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and professional facility.
The person we’re looking for Qualifications matter, but attitude, initiative and coaching ability matter more.
You’ll be a strong fit if you:
- Genuinely love coaching and helping everyday people improve.
- Bring energy without needing to be the centre of attention.
- Notice poor technique - and care enough to correct it.
- Communicate confidently and connect naturally with different personalities.
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.
- Are comfortable having membership and sales conversations.
- Want feedback, development and greater responsibility over time.
- Contribute positively to a team and uphold high professional standards.
- Are reliable, organised and comfortable using fitness software and social media.
Essential requirements
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Working rights in Australia
Certificate IV, group-training experience and strength and conditioning experience are highly regarded, but we’re willing to develop the right person.
What you’ll receive
- Structured onboarding into GPTC’s programming, systems and coaching standards.
- Regular coaching feedback and professional-development opportunities.
- Opportunities to take ownership of programs, events and projects.
- A clear pathway toward increased responsibility for the right person.
- Free GPTC membership.
- A supportive team that cares deeply about coaching and community.
- The opportunity to make a visible difference in people’s lives every day.
