About the role

XANA Hair Spa is seeking a talented Hairdresser or 2nd/3rd year apprentice to join our dynamic team in Toronto, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a professional salon environment. Whether you are a qualified hairdresser looking to advance your career or an apprentice keen to complete your training, this role will provide you with valuable experience in a supportive and creative setting.

You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver exceptional hair services to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality hair cutting, styling, and colour services to clients in line with salon standards

- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments and styles

- Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation and adhere to health and safety protocols

- Assist senior stylists and contribute to the smooth operation of the salon

- Support the development of client relationships and encourage repeat business

- Stay updated with current hair trends and styling techniques

- Contribute to a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere

- Complete training modules and develop technical skills as part of your ongoing professional development

What we're looking for

- Current qualification as a Hairdresser or enrolled in a recognised hair and beauty apprenticeship programme (2nd/3rd year)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- A genuine passion for hair and beauty services

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional standards

- Reliability, punctuality,



and a positive attitude towards teamwork

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in salon environments

- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills continuously

- Customer service experience is advantageous
