A farmer between Horsham and Stawell in western Victoria has a position available for a Harvest HC Truck Driver. The position starts in mid-November and continues to the current year.
Duties include daily mechanical pre-start and carting barley and canola from paddock to on farm storage with very occasional local deliveries in an automatic Mac Granite and triaxle chassis tipper.
You will need your own van to stay in the local caravan park in Lubeck, a short drive from farm.
Local centres Horsham and Stawell, both 30 minutes' drive from the farm, cater to everything you need.
YOU NEED
- Minimum HC truck licence with demonstrated tipping experience
- Previous grain harvest experience preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Own vehicle for private use
- Own van
- A mobile phone
- Flexibility and initiative
- Effective communication and teamworking skills
