Smokey Dan's smokehouse restaurant on the beautiful South Coast of NSW is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.

About Us:

Smokey Dan's is a busy, well loved local venue near Batemans Bay, known for our smoked meats, live music events and relaxed rustic vibe. We're a restaurant, takeaway and bar serving a loyal local crowd plus an influx of visitors over the holidays.

About the Role:

We're after a genuine kitchen leader. Someone who can take ownership of day-to-day operations and run an efficient, high-quality kitchen. Responsibilities include:

- Full kitchen operations management
- Ordering, supplier management and stock control
- Training and managing staff
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene practices
- Quality control and record keeping

What Were Looking For:

- Experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager is beneficial
- Solid leaderships and management skills
- Experience with stock control and ordering




- Current food safety supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A reliable and proactive approach
