- Ensuring credit risk management framework (including stress testing) is adequate and effective.
- Reviewing credit applications for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Assessing creditworthiness and serviceability while adhering to lending regulations.
- Drafting and reviewing credit risk management, lending, and large exposure and risk concentration related policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance, audit and quality standards are met to minimise risk.
- Offering advice on credit application, credit policy and documentation.
- Conducting deep dive reviews of risk exposure and concentration, identify issues, propose enhancements to credit processes and report findings to senior management, Head Office and local regulators.
- Review and oversee the submission of periodic credit risk reports to the Head Office and local regulators.
About You
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics,
Business or related field; advanced qualification or risk accreditation is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit risk management frameworks, risk appetite and regulatory requirements (APRA & ASIC).
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise, consult and advise internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
- Leadership capability, high integrity, attention to detail and ability to challenge to business constructively.
- An individual must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid temporary or provisional visa issued by the government
Pay: $52,440.14 – $84,126.45 per year
