12 hours per month social media + bar crawl shifts every other Saturday

Social Societies Australia is looking for a Lead Rep to become the face of our Perth society and help us keep our events busy, social and FUN.

This is a great role for someone who loves TikTok, social media, events, meeting people and coming up with creative ideas without needing someone to tell them exactly what to post.

You’ll work closely with me, the owner, remotely. I want someone who will genuinely treat the Perth Society as your baby as much as mine and take pride in growing it.

Social Media – Around 12 hours per month

Your social media hours are completely flexible. I don’t mind when you work them as long as the content is going out consistently and our events are being promoted.

You’ll be responsible for

- Creating regular TikToks, Instagram Stories and social media posts
- Using TikTok trends and creative ideas to promote our events
- Promoting our bar crawls in relevant Facebook groups
- Engaging with comments and helping drive ticket sales
- Reaching out to local content creators and offering free event tickets in exchange for content
- Coming up with new ways to get people talking about Social Societies
- Helping keep our events busy and our social presence growing
- Working with me remotely on the wider Social Societies Australia social media strategy

You’ll have support from me with the generic Social Societies Australia socials, so you won’t be expected to create every single piece of content for the business within your 3 hours per week. If you're brilliant at this and the work you're doing is genuinely helping us fill events, I'm very open to increasing your social media hours.

Lead Rep – Bar Crawls





You’ll also be our Lead Rep at our bar crawls, which run every other Saturday from approximately 6:45pm–11:15pm.

I’d ideally like our Lead Rep to attend around 80% of events, but I’m not going to make it impossible for you to have a Saturday off if there’s something you really want to do.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading and supporting our team of reps
- Making sure the night runs smoothly
- Training new reps to a really high standard
- Creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Being the main point of contact for the rep team during events
- Making sure reps know what they’re doing and are representing Social Societies well
- Looking after our event equipment, including mics, digital camera, stamps, flags and other accessories
- Taking content throughout the night for our socials

A big part of the role is building a strong team around you. I want you to train the other reps so well that they can confidently run events without you when you’re unavailable.

Who we're looking for

This role would suit someone who is:

- Naturally outgoing, confident and friendly
- Creative and proactive – you don’t need to be told what to post
- Comfortable creating TikToks and social media content
- Confident using TikTok, CapCut and Canva
- Someone who understands social media trends and knows how to make content people actually want to watch
- Organised and reliable




- Comfortable leading a team
- Happy working independently and remotely
- Excited by events, nightlife, travel and meeting new people
- Able to take ownership rather than waiting to be given every task
- A good communicator who can work closely with the owner remotely

Experience in social media, events, hospitality, nightlife or content creation is a bonus, but personality and initiative are more important to us.
