You will provide advice and support on Information Management practices and ensure data is collected accurately and promptly to meet reporting requirements.
The Role An chance has become available for a Health Information Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-solid team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern Current South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Actively support, promote and participate in the management of Hospital Based Corporate Information System
- Conduct audits and provide health information management advice and education
- Monitor and reconcile data captured in patient information systems
- Assist in the development and maintenance of work instructions, procedures and training materials and deliver training
- Actively support, promote and participate in quality activities aimed at improving the documentation of clinical information
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
- Proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (six months, with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $4102.90 - $4,487.10 per fortnight
