Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C;) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.
The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.
Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.
This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.
About the Role:
To support the delivery of Terra Verde, we are seeking a Safety Advisor to join our site-based construction delivery team. We are looking for a agile and motivated individual who can support and drive HSE culture on site while providing support and coordination of safety and environmental practices, systems, and procedures on the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage documentation and reports related to project safety programs.
- Capable of working autonomously on shift
- Implement and oversee safety initiatives for all project personnel.
- Perform regular safety inspections and monitor work areas for compliance.
- Investigate safety concerns and develop corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to achieve safety and project goals.
- Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Set clear expectations, promote accountability,
and support team development.
- Maintain a consistent on-site presence and foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead compliance efforts by understanding and communicating safety reporting procedures and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a solid work ethic and a background in the construction industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
- OHS certification or equivalent qualifications in a related field
- A proficient level of knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office Systems.
- ICAM incident investigation capability is desirable

- Proven ability to effectively engage with and support a diverse local community.
- Skilled in identifying challenges and implementing practical, effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative and ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
