Diesel Fitter – 7/7 Roster | Western Downs

IFE Diesel Repairs & Maintenance is looking for an experienced and reliable Diesel Fitter to join our growing team.

This is a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, we are open to Monday - Friday for local applicants. Western Downs based, with regular travel to client sites throughout the region.

About the Role

You’ll be working across a range of heavy earthmoving, transport and agricultural equipment, carrying out breakdown repairs, servicing, preventative maintenance and general mechanical repairs.

The role will suit someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What we're looking for

- Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Experience with heavy earthmoving and transport equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Safety-focused approach to all work
- Reliable, punctual and skilled
- Clean and organised work habits
- Current driver's licence




- Own reliable transport and tools of the trade
- ABN highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as required
