The Appointment We are partnering with a significant heavy industry operation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their site-based team in Millmerran.

This is a genuinely broad generalist position offering the opportunity to work closely with operational leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.

With a workforce encompassing trades, technical and professional employees, this is an opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the operation, building trusted relationships and providing practical, commercially considered HR advice.

The Appointee Working As a Key Member Of The HR Function, You Will Provide Hands-on Advice And Support Across a Diverse Range Of People Matters, Including

- Managing employee relations matters from initial issue through to resolution
- Supporting grievances, investigations and other complex workplace matters
- Providing advice and guidance to leaders throughout performance management processes
- Interpreting and applying relevant awards, legislation and industrial instruments
- Supporting broader industrial relations matters across the operation
- Partnering with leaders on employee engagement and workforce initiatives
- Supporting talent identification, succession planning and employee development
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across trade, blue-collar, technical and professional positions
- Supporting HR compliance, reporting and broader people initiatives




- Providing support across employment documentation and HR administration when required
- Working collaboratively with the broader team while independently managing your portfolio

About You We're looking for an experienced HR generalist who can confidently balance hands-on ER/IR matters with the broader requirements of a contemporary HR function.

You Will Ideally Bring

- Strong generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle
- Demonstrated ER and IR capability
- Experience interpreting and working with industrial instruments
- Exposure to talent management, succession planning, engagement and employee development
- End-to-end recruitment experience, ideally encompassing both blue-collar/trade and professional recruitment
- Experience within heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, resources, energy or another safety-critical operational environment will be highly regarded
- A sound understanding of HR governance, compliance and reporting requirements
- A strong appreciation of workplace health and safety
- The confidence to work autonomously while remaining a collaborative and supportive team member
