HR Business Partner Stockton, Newcastle | Full time or job share—2–3 days per week

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys the hands-on side of employee relations and wants to work in a genuinely warm and positive organisation.

Our client is a mid-sized community services organisation with a supportive culture, approachable leaders and a highly collegiate manager. The position is available either as a full-time role or as a job-share arrangement working two to three days per week.

Around 70% of the role will focus on employee and industrial relations, including workplace investigations, performance matters, grievances and providing practical advice to managers.

The role

- Manage workplace investigations and complex employee relations matters
- Provide practical IR and ER advice to leaders and managers
- Support performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes
- Interpret relevant awards, legislation and workplace policies
- Coach managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently
- Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives as required





About you You will be an experienced HR practitioner with strong ER and IR capability, including confidence managing investigations from beginning to end. You’ll be practical, calm and comfortable working through sensitive or complex matters. Experience within community services, disability, aged care, health or another regulated environment would be helpful, but isn’t essential.

Most importantly, you will be collaborative, down to earth and someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit and supportive team.
