Since 2007, Silver Wolf Projects (Pty) Ltd has been offering dynamic, innovative Civil/Structural engineering, project management and building consulting services. Our national presence in the insurance industry requires the provision of high quality forensic technical engineering and building assessments and reports, delivered to tight deadlines.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR & Compliance Officer to join our operations team at the company’s Kogarah office in Sydney NSW on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700).

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking full ownership of our HR function and support a growing team. This role will provide you the opportunity to develop your HR skills whilst working alongside a supportive team, reporting directly to the General Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end recruitment, including the preparation of job descriptions and contracts
- Developing ongoing training plans
- Full ownership of Employment Hero
- Support with ongoing ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 requirements
- Maintaining employee records, including certification management and variations to employment contracts




- Support functional managers with advice on routine HR issues
- Onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Involvement in Disciplinary and Performance Management procedures
- Key understanding of the Fair Work Act, Professional Employees Award and Clerks Private Sector Award, and keeping abreast of legislative changes
- Review and amend company policies to ensure up-to-date compliance

About You

- Tertiary qualification in HR or related
- At least 3 years professional experience in HR
- Previous experience with HRIS systems, especially Employment Hero, is a prerequisite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to work across teams
- Organised, efficient and able to meet deadlines
- A positive “can do” approach with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
