About BKH Group

BKH Group operates a specialist division delivering jumpform systems, engineered formwork, structural steel and temporary works solutions to major high-rise and infrastructure projects across NSW and QLD. Our Kings Park yard supports complex concrete structures, engineered climbing systems, structural steel and formwork operations.

This is a heavy construction and fabrication environment, not a general transport or warehouse operation.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver / Yardman to join our Jumpform & Systems Division. The primary responsibility of this role will be transporting equipment, steel, formwork and jumpform system components between our Kings Park yard, project sites and suppliers.

When driving and delivery work is not required, you will assist our yard and workshop teams with forklift operations, loading/unloading, equipment preparation, general yard organisation and maintenance.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a combination of driving, machinery operation and physical yard work.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transport

- Operating company HR trucks for deliveries and collections
- Transporting jumpform systems, structural steel, formwork equipment and construction materials
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Securing loads correctly in accordance with load restraint requirements
- Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle issues




- Delivering and collecting equipment from construction sites across Sydney and NSW
- Assisting site teams with unloading and positioning materials where required
- Maintaining a clean and presentable company vehicle
- Completing delivery paperwork and records as required

Yard & Forklift Duties

During periods when driving work is not required:
- Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks
- Preparing jumpform and formwork components for dispatch
- Organising materials and equipment within the yard
- Assisting with steel and system component preparation
- General yard housekeeping and organisation
- Assisting with maintenance, cleaning and preparation of equipment
- Assisting workshop and operations teams as required
- General manual handling and labouring duties

This Role Suits Someone Who Has Experience In:

- Construction transport
- Structural steel
- Formwork
- Jumpform or climbing systems
- Scaffold
- Fabrication workshops
- Heavy construction yards
- Building materials transport
- General construction labouring

Experience working around heavy steel, formwork or construction equipment will be highly regarded. Applicants coming from general courier or clean warehouse environments may not be suited to this role.

Licences & Skills

Essential:

- Valid Australian HR Truck Licence




- Positive driving record
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to safely load, secure and transport heavy materials
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction yard environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to assist with general yard duties when required

Highly Regarded:

- Valid LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience transporting steel, formwork or construction equipment
- Experience with load restraint
- Construction industry experience
- Mechanically minded
- Experience operating other mobile plant
- White Card

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm Saturday: 6:00am – 11:00am as required The role will involve a combination of driving, deliveries and yard duties, depending on operational requirements.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, switched on and willing to get their hands dirty. You will need to be comfortable working around heavy steel, formwork and construction equipment and understand that when the truck is not required, there is always work to be done in the yard.
