Our ClientOur client are global leaders in the freight forwarding, logistics and transport industry, and have a solid local presence across most Australian states. They are looking for an experienced Import Air Operator, who is process-driven and can work collaboratively in a team.

The Position

- Permanent, Full-Time Position

- Process end-to-end Import Air transactions while assisting colleagues with all operational requirements

- Liaise with clients, overseas offices, carriers and suppliers

- Ensure the adherence to time critical deadlines

- Send pre-alerts to customers and overseas offices

- Ensure all documentation is supplied and accurate

- Prepare invoices for clients

- Act as the first point of contact for customers

- Co-ordinate under-bond movements as required

- Escalate issues as required to your manager

The Requirements

- Proven experience in a similar role, at least 2 years of Import Air experience





- Experience working at consol level, retrievals and an understanding of costing/finance

- Strong customer service skills and professional communication

- Adaptable and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment

- CargoWise One experience, strongly preferred

- Has full Australian working rights, and based in NSW, Australia
