Workfast is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electrical Fitter for a full-time opportunity with a well-established industrial business based in the Kwinana industrial area.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Electrical tradesperson looking to secure a stable, long-term position within a large-scale industrial processing environment.
About the Role You will be working as part of an experienced maintenance team, responsible for maintaining electrical systems, plant and equipment across a busy industrial facility.
Your duties will include
- Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Maintenance of industrial plant and machinery
- Electrical installations, upgrades and modifications
- Troubleshooting motors, controls and electrical systems
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising plant downtime
- Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site requirements
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Current Australian Electrical Licence / recognised electrical trade qualification
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, processing or heavy industry environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial plant and equipment
- Robust safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and professional approach to work
