APM is continuing its impactful work with the Transition to Work contract, and we are now seeking an Industry Consultant who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

As an Industry Consultant you will:

Engage with youth, employers, and community stakeholders to create pathways into education and employment

Build and maintain strong local networks to attract opportunities for participants

Partner closely with Youth Support Workers to identify suitable pathways including:

Employment

Education

Traineeships

Apprenticeships

About the role

Bring your strong networking skills to identify, build and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders. This will enable you to engage with and secure employment or education opportunities for participants.

This role can be based at our Burwood, Hurstville or Rockdale sites. The role will work across the Sydney East Metro Region.

Skills and experience

Proven sales networking ability.

A competitive and resilient outlook.

Drive to exceed both personal and professional goals.

Demonstrated relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with a passion and commitment to changing people’s lives, in particular youth.
