The Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) is offering an exciting opportunity for up to three outstanding geoscience and data science students to join our Industry Ready Graduate Program 2027.
This unique two-year program combines university-supported study and paid applied geoscience research, providing advanced technical skills, real-world training, industry experience, and exposure to one of the world's leading geological surveys.
What you'll receive
?Year 1: Study Support
- Receive a stipend of $35,000 to $50,000 while completing your Honours or Masters degree (depending on qualification type);
- Receive mentorship, additional expenditure funds, and support from GSWA while you complete your studies at a Western Australian University;
- Develop specialist research and technical capabilities relevant to the resources sector.
?Year 2: Paid Employment
- Join GSWA as a full-time employee.
- Starting salary of $90,256 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
- Gain hands-on experience working on real projects that support the responsible development of Western Australia's mineral and energy resources.
