About the Opportunity

Glenelg Shire Council are looking for a highly organised, detail-focused person who is passionate about administration and keeping information and data records accurate, accessible, and secure. As our Information & Data Management Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining Council’s records and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Information & Data Management Unit. From supporting our Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS), to ensuring physical and digital archives are properly maintained according to legislation and helping others source accurate records and data, as well as variety of administration tasks – your work will make a real difference in how Council manage and protect our information and data assets.

For further information on the position please refer to the Position Description. What you need to Succeed Experience in using an Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) application, including SharePoint is advantageous.

Experience and skills using computers and Microsoft Office software programs.

Completion of a records management certificate OR some years’ experience in a similar records management / administration support role. Organisation skills and the ability to meet timelines.





Effective communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders.

Energy and enthusiasm with the ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.

Ongoing satisfactory Police Check.
