Senior .NET Developer | Darwin, NT | 12-Month Contract

We're seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a major government technology transformation program in Darwin.

This role is suited to a hands-on developer who enjoys building and enhancing complex enterprise applications, working across technical design, development, integration, and ongoing solution improvement within a collaborative project environment.

Key Requirements

You will bring strong experience across:

- C# .NET (.NET 8)
- SQL Server, SQL and database design
- Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Vue.js
- Single Page Applications (SPA)
- Entity Framework, LINQ or similar ORM technologies
- Web APIs and IIS-hosted web applications
- System architecture concepts
- Atlassian toolset (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)




- Security, networking and application design principles

Desirable Experience

Highly regarded experience includes

- WPF/XAML desktop application development
- REST and MQ web services
- Open API specifications
- Dependency Injection
- Unit testing and Continuous Integration
- Technical documentation and system design documentation
- Database migrations and profiling
- Environment and infrastructure setup
- Revenue, finance or taxation-related systems
