Position Description

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the Fleet Support Team (FST) department of FLTREADCEN EAST. You will be the F-35 LST Corrosion Engineering Lead in Ft. Worth.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

- You will investigate, research and determine applicability of major modification in order to extend service life, improve survivability, reliability and aircraft safety.
- You will budget branch resources regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization, and capability.
- You will monitor performance or engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses, and support services provided directly to the operational community.




- You will be responsible for responding/coordinating technical feedback to supportability/maintainability questions from the operating and maintenance personnel.
- You will analyze/recommend adjustments to specified service life intervals for aircraft weapons and equipment.
- You will prepare correspondence, technical reports and instructions for submittal to NAVAIR.
- You will lead a joint team of USAF and USN structural engineers providing fleet support on corrosion issues and will have supervisory responsibilities for the USN engineers.
