HIRING — Two Roles at a Sydney Film Company (Hybrid/ Remote)

Applications close 13 August films & casting TEMPLE, based at Disney Studios Australia in Sydney, is looking for two people to help us take our slate to TIFF, MIPCOM, Content London and other international markets this year.

We are an award-winning Australian production company making India-centric and diverse Australian feature films for global audiences - including landmark cross-cultural projects and the first Indian–First Nations feature film.

1 - International Market/Festival Coordinator — PAID

Applicants need at least one year of experience in film, television, festivals, distribution, sales or the screen business.

You will work directly with our Sydney-based and international Executive Producers on market preparation, sales agent and distributor outreach, festival submissions, research and meeting coordination.

This role is ideal for an emerging producer, production or festival coordinator, or development or distribution assistant who is ready to explore international markets more deeply.

2 - International Festival & Market Intern — 11 weeks

This role is for film and media students, recent graduates, and people trying to get their foot in the door who are curious about development, producing, sales, distribution and international markets.

You will see exactly how a film is prepared, pitched and sold internationally.



Strong performers may move into paid part-time, casual or full-time work.

Both roles may involve:

- Writing professional emails to buyers, sales agents and programmers
- Researching markets, streamers and festivals
- Building contact databases and trackers
- Preparing festival applications
- Coordinating meetings across different time zones
- Writing project summaries and briefing documents

Requirements: You must be organised, reliable, detail-focused, a solid writer and genuinely interested in the business side of film. Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia. Sydney-based applicants are preferred, although remote work may be possible from anywhere in Australia for the right person.
