- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $102,936.14 to $113,579.00 (Clerk Grade 5/6)

About the role

As an Investigations Assessment Officer, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective investigative and administrative support to the Investigations Team in the end-to-end processing of matters under assessment and investigation. The investigations team is responsible for conducting investigations into the conduct of councils across NSW, including misconduct matters, maladministration, compliance and other issues including performance issues in respect to local government.

What you’ll bring to the role

- Sound knowledge of, and experience in, the processes of government or other highly regulated environments.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the conduct of investigations and analysis processes is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts and support colleagues in achieving objectives




- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Essential Requirements

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
