The Opportunity Our client is a specialist technology investment manager investing in high-growth businesses.

Over recent years, the firm has successfully deployed two technology investment funds and is now entering its next phase of growth. Alongside managing and realising investments from its existing portfolio, it is launching a new perpetual investment vehicle that will invest into emerging technology companies on an ongoing basis.

There is an opportunity for an ambitious Investment Analyst to join the investment team.

Unlike many larger private equity firms where junior professionals become highly specialised, this role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from fundraising and sourcing through to execution, portfolio management and exits.

The Role

Responsibilities will include

- Financial analysis and valuation of prospective technology investments.
- Financial modelling and investment committee paper preparation.
- Commercial, strategic and financial due diligence.
- Industry, thematic and market research.
- Supporting transaction execution across acquisitions and investments.
- Portfolio monitoring, financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Assisting portfolio companies with strategic initiatives and growth projects.
- Supporting fundraising activities and investor reporting.
- Preparing presentations and materials for investors, boards and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting with exit processes across mature portfolio investments.
- Leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency while applying critical thinking and commercial judgement to investment analysis.





Investment opportunities will typically involve technology businesses with enterprise values between approximately $10 million and $150 million, with the firm frequently acquiring majority ownership positions. Why This Role Is Different

This is a genuinely broad investment role. Rather than working exclusively on transaction modelling, you will experience every aspect of investing, including raising capital, sourcing opportunities, executing investments, managing portfolio companies, working with founders and management teams, supporting exits, and helping shape new investment strategies.

It is an ideal setting for someone who wants to become a well-rounded investor rather than specialising in only one component of private equity.

About You

We are interested in candidates with approximately 2-4 years' experience from backgrounds such as:

- Investment Banking (M&A;) - From this category - Strong preference is more boutique investment banking
- Boutique Corporate Finance
- Private Equity
- Big 4 Corporate Finance / Transaction Services
- Corporate Development

Most importantly, you will demonstrate outstanding analytical capability, strong financial modelling skills, commercial curiosity, high attention to detail, a genuine passion for investing, a proactive self-directed approach, and the flexibility to work across whatever the business requires. This role will particularly suit candidates who are entrepreneurial by nature and excited by working in a growing investment business where responsibility comes early and no two weeks look the same.

Noting that the final stage of the interview process is an on site case study/investment case which requires a model and Q&A.;
