We’re looking for a motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our Mandates team. This is an opportunity to play an integral role in supporting our Private Mandate clients through high-quality investment analysis, financial modelling and reporting, while contributing to initiatives that improve the way we work. T his is a 10-month contract position.
Your key responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop financial models for Private Mandates, including forecasting earnings, distributions, cash flow, debt, valuations and investment returns
- Prepare high-quality quarterly and annual investment reporting for key stakeholders, including investors, senior management and Board
- Analyse and reconcile investment and portfolio performance,
providing meaningful insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Partner with the Investment Management, Asset Management and Finance teams, as well as external stakeholders, to deliver accurate and timely reporting
- Support business improvement and transformation initiatives, including the implementation and testing of new processes and enhancements
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Property Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with 3+ years’ relevant experience in property, funds management, investment banking, valuations or management accounting
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience building, reviewing and/or using investment, acquisition, development or funds models
- Experience within property funds management and a strong understanding of commercial property, valuations, budgeting and investment concepts
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong PowerPoint capability and the ability to work with property forecasting and valuation systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and confidently present insights to senior stakeholders
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
