Investor Relations Analyst

This is a newly created role to support and enhance the Investor Relations function, reporting into the Head of Investor Relations and is based in the Melbourne CBD

.

The Investor Relations Analyst will play a key role in delivering high-quality investor communications, market intelligence, and financial analysis to support engagement with shareholders, sell-side analysts, and the broader financial community. The role provides direct exposure to senior management and contributes to shaping the company’s external narrative, ensuring alignment between financial performance, strategy, and market expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Communication & Engagement

- Support the preparation of investor facing materials including results presentations, earnings releases, and other announcements
- Assist in managing relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analysts, including preparation for meetings, roadshows, and conferences
- Coordinate investor interactions, including earnings calls, one-one meetings, site visits, and investor events
- Draft responses to investor and analyst enquiries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with disclosure obligations
- Maintain key IR collateral (fact sheets, Q&A; documents, messaging frameworks etc)
- Financial Analysis & Market Intelligence:
- Analyse financial results, trading performance, and key drivers across the business (and peers) to support external messaging
- Monitor and track sell-side analyst models, consensus estimates, and valuation frameworks
- Develop insights on variances between internal performance expectations and market assumptions
- Deliver regular market intelligence updates to senior management, including investor feedback and sentiment
- Monitor peer performance, sector trends, and macro developments, assessing implications for valuation and positioning
- Assist with preparation of relevant IR board papers and other committee papers

Financial Reporting & Governance





- Support the delivery of half-year and full-year results processes, including coordination of materials and timelines
- Assist with preparation of Board and executive papers on investor sentiment, consensus positioning, and capital market dynamics

Investor Relations Strategy & Exececution

- Contribute to the ongoing development of the IR strategy, including positioning, messaging, and investor targeting
- Support execution of key IR initiatives such as Investor Day, roadshows, and conference participation
- Undertake benchmarking and best practice analysis to continuously improve IR materials and engagement approach
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance disclosure, transparency, and market understanding of the business

IR Operations & Systems

- Maintain internal databases including investor engagement tracking, shareholder register analysis, and interaction logs
- iSupport management of the IR website and investor communications platforms
- Assist with CRM tools and reporting that underpin the IR functions

Skills & Experience

- Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting, and valuation principles
- Highly developed analytical capability, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, investor-ready messaging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
- High level of professionalism and sound judgement, particularly in relation to confidential information and market disclosure
- Cooperative mindset with proven ability to work across finance, strategy, and operational temas
- Familiarity with ASX/NZX Listing Rules and continuous disclosure requirements is preferred

Educational Background

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Post graduate qualifications such as CA, CFA (or progress towards) would be highly regarded
