We are seeking a talented Graduate / Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team at JYA' in Fitzroy North, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients with a range of accounting and business advisory services.
What you'll be doing
- Training on Bookkeeping Software Xero & MYOB
- Preparing and analysing financial reports and statements
- Assisting with tax planning and compliance, GST, PAYGW & BAS reporting
- Undertaking research and providing recommendations on accounting and business best practices
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality services to our clients
- Participating in ongoing professional development to continually expand your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- A recently completed degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
- A keen interest in the accounting and business advisory industry
- Eligibility for or pursuit of a skilled accounting designation (e.g. CA, CPA)
