Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications. The role involves writing clean and maintainable code, implementing application features, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to reliable and user-friendly software solutions.

You will work closely with developers, product teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities include developing and testing application components, debugging and resolving software issues, participating in code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting application improvements throughout the development lifecycle.

The Junior Developer will also contribute to continuous improvement by learning new technologies, following development standards, and applying best practices in coding, testing, security, and version control. Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and effective collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Good understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software development concepts.

Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.

Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, and SQL is an advantage.

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and standard software development practices.

Understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and code quality principles.

Ability to read, understand, and write clear and maintainable code.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Willingness to learn new technologies, development frameworks, and tools.
