Studio Vela Avoca Beach is seeking a warm, responsible and energetic Kids Club Coordinator to join our team. This is a casual role suited to someone who is genuinely passionate about working with children and committed to creating a safe, structured and enjoyable environment for our youngest studio guests.

The Kids Club Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our family membership offering, ensuring parents can train with confidence knowing their children are well cared for. You will be the friendly, dependable presence that makes Studio Vela a welcoming space for the whole family.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Child Supervision & Safety
- Supervise children in a safe, attentive and nurturing manner at all times
- Manage secure check-in and check-out procedures for each session
- Monitor behaviour and facilitate respectful interactions between children
- Adhere to all safety, emergency and compliance procedures

Engagement & Activities

- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts and activities
- Foster a positive, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
- Maintain structured and engaging sessions throughout the class period
- Encourage cooperative behaviour, teamwork and mutual respect

Cleanliness & Organisation

- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised Kids Club area at all times
- Sanitise toys, equipment and surfaces regularly in accordance with hygiene standards
- Ensure all equipment is safely stored when not in use
- Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to studio management promptly

Communication

- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents at drop-off and collection
- Report any incidents, concerns or feedback to management in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate attendance and sign-in records for each session





THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for someone who brings the following qualities to the role:

- Naturally warm, bubbly and approachable with children and families
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Patient, calm and confident managing groups of children
- Professional in both conduct and presentation
- Comfortable working within established policies and procedures
- Genuinely enthusiastic about working in a wellness and fitness setting

Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, babysitting or youth programs is highly regarded. A current Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid and CPR certification is required, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

- Casual position with flexible hours based on class schedule
- Availability across morning and/or evening sessions required
- Saturday morning availability highly regarded

Kids Club Operating Hours

- Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 10:30am and 4:30pm – 7:30pm
- Saturday: 7:00am – 10:00am
- Sunday: Closed
