Cairns Flat Packs is seeking a Cabinet Maker / workshop assembler to join our team in Cairns, QLD - on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company in the tropical Cairns region. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32-$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience. We also work 4.5 days per week with the chance for overtime.

What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the production, assembly and preparation for dispatch our flat pack and pre-assembled cabinetry orders
- Operate our Edge bander and CNC machine
- Read and interpret technical drawings and designs
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed timelines
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role
- Strong workshop skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade qualifications or certification in Cabinet Making
