Key Responsibilities
- Carry out chemical and microbiological testing to ensure wine quality and compliance.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing calibrations and routine checks.
- Collect and prepare production samples, documenting accurate test results.
- Support in-process quality control checks during bottling and production.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised laboratory environment.
- Assist the Laboratory Manager with investigations and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year of previous experience in a winery or quality assurance laboratory.
- Certificate in Laboratory Skills and/or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Science (desirable).
- Robust communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to identify issues that may hinder task completion and find appropriate solutions.
- Attention to detail and care in performing tasks.
- Strong teamwork abilities and capacity to work well with others.
