Living Style Co is looking for a hardworking, reliable person to join our team as a Landscape Construction Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some labouring, landscaping or construction experience who wants to build a long-term career and learn from an experienced team.

We are an award-winning Sunshine Coast landscape design and construction company specialising in high-end outdoor transformations. For nearly 20 years, we have delivered complete projects incorporating concrete pools, structures, decking, concreting, tiling, stonework, retaining walls, gardens and outdoor living areas.

This is not basic garden maintenance. You’ll gain genuine construction experience and develop a broad range of practical trade skills while working on some of the Sunshine Coast’s most impressive outdoor projects.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside our experienced tradespeople, you’ll assist with and learn:

- Landscape construction and site preparation

- Concrete pools and pool renovations

- Concreting, formwork and steel fixing

- Retaining walls and blockwork

- Decking and outdoor structures

- Tiling and stonework

- Drainage and irrigation

- Tiling, garden edging and planting

- Secure operation of tools, machinery and equipment

No two projects are the same, so this is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, practical problem-solving and seeing a quality project come together from the ground up.

You don’t need to know everything—we’ll teach you—but you do need to arrive ready to work and learn.

- Have some previous labouring, landscaping, construction or trade experience

- Be physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work

- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude





- Be reliable, punctual and ready to contribute each day

- Listen carefully and follow instructions

- Take pride in producing quality work

- Work well as part of a team

- Communicate respectfully with clients and co-workers

- Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport

A Construction White Card and experience using basic hand or power tools would be highly regarded.

We will also consider a school leaver who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience through work, vocational training, farm work, personal projects or a similar practical background.

The reality of the role

Landscape construction is rewarding, but it is also physically demanding. You’ll work outdoors in changing weather and be involved in lifting, digging, carrying materials, preparing sites and keeping work areas tidy.
