Overview As Lead Flight Test Engineer, you will establish and lead the flight test function for Cambridge Aerospace's interceptor capability in Australia. You will plan and execute flight test campaigns that reduce technical risk, verify system performance and support customer demonstrations.

Responsibilities Lead flight test planning, execution and reporting activities.

Build and mentor the local flight test team, to:

Develop test plans, procedures and safety assessments.

Coordinate flight trials with engineering, range and operational stakeholders.

Analyse flight test data and provide recommendations for system improvement.

Support verification and validation activities across the product lifecycle.

Requirements Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.

Extensive experienceleading,planning and conducting UAS flight test activities.

Robust understanding of flight test safety, risk management and test methodologies.

Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.

Preferred

Qualifications/Experience Experience testing high-performance UAS, guided weapons, loitering munitions or interceptor systems.

Experience with flight test instrumentation, telemetry and data analysis.





- Experience operating within Defence or other regulated aerospace environments.
