We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our growing Process Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior consulting engineer looking to take the next step into engineering leadership. Working closely with the Process Engineering Team Leader, you will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, support business development activities and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the mining and minerals sector.

The successful candidate will bring strong consulting experience, a proven track record delivering studies and projects, and extensive experience within Gold, Lithium, Rare Earths or other Critical Minerals processing operations. The Chance

As a Lead Process Engineer, you will act as a senior technical leader within the team, providing guidance and support to engineers while leading the delivery of complex projects and studies. You will work closely with clients, support proposal development and leverage your industry network to help identify opportunities for future work. This role offers a genuine pathway into discipline leadership for an individual looking to further develop their leadership and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Governance - Lead process engineering activities, providing technical oversight, mentoring engineers, and reviewing/approving key deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs;, design criteria, calculations).

Project Delivery Across Lifecycle - Lead process scopes from scoping studies through to detailed design, ensuring delivery to quality, budget, and schedule.

Multidisciplinary Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate across engineering disciplines, support project planning, and engage with clients through reviews, workshops, and technical discussions.

Team Leadership & Capability Development - Mentor and develop engineers, support team growth,



and foster a high-performing, client-focused culture.

About

You

Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.

Demonstrated consulting experience within an engineering consultancy, EPCM or project delivery setting.

Proven experience leading engineering teams, projects or study packages.

Extensive experience in mineral processing (e.g. gold, lithium, rare earths, or critical minerals)
