About Pebblestone

Pebblestone Building Services is a Gold Coast architectural metalwork company. We design, fabricate and install perforated panels, batten screens, sunhoods, fins and aluminium cladding for commercial builders across South East Queensland. We own every step, from shop drawings to handover, so the same team that designs and builds the work installs it. One team, one point of contact.

The role

We're growing our install crew and need a Leading Hand to run a work front of 1–5 on commercial sites across SEQ. You'll work from our shop drawings, set out the job, allocate the day's work, keep the crew moving and sign off on quality. You'll start inside our existing crew to learn how we do things, then step up to run your own crew as we grow. You report to our Construction Manager.

What you'll do

- Lead and coordinate a crew of 1–5 installing screens, battens, sunhoods, cladding and facade systems
- Read and work from construction and shop drawings and setout
- Run the work front day to day: task allocation, pace, quality, site housekeeping
- Work to SWMS, run toolbox talks, keep the crew safe at heights
- Solve the detail problems that come up on site
- Liaise with Project Manager and Construction Manager to report on daily work progress and requirements





What you'll need

- Trade qualification (carpentry, roofing, glazing/aluminium or related)
- White Card, EWP and Working at Heights tickets
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Your own basic hand and power tools (drill/driver combo, grinder, circular saw); we supply plant, specialist gear, consumables and PPE
- The ability to lead a crew and work autonomously
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in carpentry, roofing, glazing/aluminium or related trades
- Minimum 1+ years of experience leading crews is essential

Desired but not essential: Experience installing proprietary aluminium cladding, facade and screen systems; first aid, forklift or scaffolding tickets. Why Pebblestone
