We are now looking to expand our bench with an energy/ construction lawyer to support project delivery activities across one of Australia's most significant infrastructure and energy projects.
As an energy/ construction lawyer, you will need to:
- Have a minimum of 4-8 years' PQE in-house or private practice
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a range of construction contracts (including D&Cs;, contractor agreements, subcontracts and supply agreements, JV agreements and project delivery agreements)
- Provide practical legal advice on project delivery and contractual issues
- Manage continuation notices, claim responses and settlement negotiations
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop commercially sound strategies for dispute avoidance and resolution
