We are now looking to expand our bench with a privacy lawyer to support a global resources company.
As a privacy lawyer, you will need to:
- Have a minimum of 5 years PQE in-house or in private practice
- Provide legal advice on privacy and data protection laws across Australia
- Review and negotiate privacy and data-related contractual terms with suppliers, customers and partners
- Advise on data collection, use, disclosure, retention and cross-border data transfers
- Provide legal support on cyber security incidents,
data breaches and regulatory investigations
- Support privacy compliance programs and enterprise-wide governance initiatives

- Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background
- Top international law firm or equivalent in-house/secondment experience
