The Role

You will support the Chief Corporate & Governance Officer across discrete governance and legal workstreams and projects.

- Prepare board and Governance and Risk Committee papers
- Lead and support governance projects and policy implementation underway at the League
- Support the company secretarial function across NBL Group entities: resolutions, minutes and agendas
- Support corporate structuring matters across the NBL Group
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with confidence
- Turn around legal research and advice at pace

Based in Cremorne, 3 to 4 days a week, for an immediate start.

Who We're Looking For

You take carriage of what is in front of you. You know when something needs to go straight to the CCGO and when you can simply get on with it.

- Admitted Australian legal practitioner, 5 to 8 years PQE
- Strong grounding in corporate governance and compliance
- Experience running or supporting litigation and tribunal matters
- Confident drafting board papers, policies and resolutions
- Comfortable negotiating commercial agreements end to end

And the non-negotiables - you bring the same care to a board resolution as you do to a settlement letter,



discretion and confidentiality are second nature to you, and you are comfortable with priorities shifting as the term progresses.
